La Belle Échappée

La Belle Échappée is a boutique hotel in the French countryside, blending the elegance of modernity and traditional.

My trip to Provence inspired the logo and brand identity carousel. I implemented Lavender as the main visual of the design as it is one of the highlights that I observed to be highly regarded in the tourism sector of Provence. The second element is the beauty of French architecture, from its iconic arched windows to detailed ornaments. The logo design, for example, portrays the clean, modernised version of an arched window and lavender field (A beautiful retreat!) — along with a hand-drawn / modified type that mimicked ornamental details.
